Do You Suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia?

If so, you may qualify to participate in a study to help us learn about a potential new treatment.

What is Trigeminal Neuralgia?

Trigeminal Neuralgia (TN) is a chronic facial pain condition affecting the trigeminal nerve, which supplies sensation to the face. TN is characterized by abrupt onset of sharp facial pain lasting from a few seconds to minutes. Pain can occur several times per day and can be triggered by even mild stimulation to the face, such as brushing hair or teeth, applying makeup, chewing or yawning. Painful episodes often increase in frequency over time and result in significant disability.

While there are medications available for the treatment of TN, many people eventually develop resistance to or from side effects from the available medications.

Biohaven Pharmaceuticals is conducting a clinical trial for a potential medicine to help treat symptoms of TN. If you or a loved one suffer you may qualify.
